The Swan – Proven, Practical & Purpose-Built for Civil and Diving Support

The Swan is a robust steel workboat of the renowned Beaver type, designed to provide dependable performance in civil engineering and marine construction environments. With a strong record of reliability, she has become a trusted platform for supporting a wide variety of inshore and nearshore operations.

Purpose-built for stability and versatility, The Swan is fully seaworthy and ideally suited for use as a dive support vessel. She is often fitted with a permanent diving station, making her a safe and efficient base for underwater inspections, maintenance, and recovery tasks. Her open-deck layout, combined with a cut-away stern and ladder access, allows divers to enter and exit the water with ease.

When equipped with her “A” frame, two-drum hydraulic winch, and pot hauler, The Swan is capable of handling and recovering equipment up to 500kg—ideal for lifting survey gear, salvage items, or heavy subsea tools. The spacious aft deck offers ample room for transporting construction materials, tools, or operating as a secure working platform for on-site marine tasks.

Licensed to carry up to 12 passengers, she can accommodate work crews, dive teams, or support personnel with ease. Her wheelhouse offers sheltered seating for up to six people, providing comfort and protection from the elements during operations or transits.

With a proven design, durable construction, and multi-role capability, The Swan continues to serve as a reliable and highly functional vessel for marine contractors, dive teams, and civil engineering firms alike.
