Shoreline Engineer – Purpose-Built Catamaran for Demanding Marine Operations

Shoreline Engineer is a highly specialised steel catamaran, uniquely designed and constructed to meet the rigorous demands of the marine construction industry. Engineered for versatility, strength, and endurance, she offers a dependable platform for a broad range of maritime operations in both inshore and nearshore environments.

Her robust twin-hull catamaran design provides outstanding stability, increased deck space, and exceptional manoeuvrability, making her ideally suited for complex marine tasks. Powered by twin 375hp John Deere engines, Shoreline Engineer delivers reliable propulsion with the control and agility needed for precision operations in challenging conditions.

This vessel has been purpose-built to support:

  • Diving operations and civil engineering works
  • Towage, salvage, and mooring deployments
  • Hydrographic surveying and marine drilling
  • Personnel transfers to offshore or remote sites
  • Support for marine-based film production crews

The catamaran configuration ensures an uncluttered and spacious working deck, enabling safe and efficient handling of heavy equipment and materials. Whether assisting with underwater installations, conducting surveys, or providing stable platforms for filming or drilling, Shoreline Engineer adapts to the task with ease.

Below deck, the vessel features well-appointed accommodation and working facilities designed with crew comfort and operational efficiency in mind. The fully insulated deck saloon includes seating for six and is equipped with a galley featuring a gas cooker, fridge, electric kettle, and microwave—providing all the essentials for extended assignments at sea.

The full-width bridge is outfitted with expansive worktops, ideal for mounting computers, monitors, and survey equipment. Accommodation is available for up to four personnel in two insulated cabins, complemented by a dedicated shower and WC to ensure crew welfare during prolonged deployments.

Whether deployed for engineering, survey, or support duties, Shoreline Engineer stands out as a versatile, reliable, and highly capable workboat built to thrive in demanding marine environments.
