With Portland’s unique location 22
miles north of the westerly shipping lanes and on the main maritime
trade routes Quest offers a service where by using our vessels we
are able to conduct transfers of personnel, stores or make rubbish
collections using enclosed skips.
The Quest 1 can be used to make
transfers whilst the ship is still under way. Quest one will transit
to the position where the transfer is to take place at speeds of up
to 20kts and can carry up to 8 persons or 4ton of deck cargo or a
large enclosed skip for rubbish transfers.
The Shoreline Engineer can be used to
conduct transfers if weather conditions are not suitable to use the
Quest 1 or if larger or heavier items are required as she is able to
carry up to 12ton of deck cargo.

Using our JCB telescopic handler we
are able to of load from the shore side transport and load the
vessel that is going to conduct the transfer.
We are able to hire enclosed skips at
short notice from All clear Skip services who are also based within
Portland Port.
