To support our Site Investigation, Mooring and Mine Clearance tasks Quest has invested in state of the art Survey Equipment.

A combination of a DGPS positioning system with sub-metre accuracy, dual frequency Echo Sounder, Magnetometer, Sub-bottom profiler and side scan sonar, all computer integrated, enables highly accurate Charts to be drawn.

Items on the seabed can be located, from land mines to pipelines, cables and wecks. Items can be classified as magnetic or non-magnetic, buried or on the surface and positive identification made by diving, ROV or lowering a video camera.

Recent tasks include:

• EOD identification and post construction debris survey of the Kentish Flats Wind Farm site

• Pre-dredging survey and target identification in Poole Harbour.

• Missing Anchor and Cable location in  Portland Harbour.
